Health Checks

At the heart of the Up for It? programme is a personalised health check.

The health check sessions are delivered by experienced Registered General Nurses. Health checks are carried out at various sites across South Lanarkshire.

Health Checks usually take between 30-45 mins and include the following:

  • Blood pressure
  • Blood sugar
  • Cholesterol
  • Body mass index
  • Lifestyle questionnaire
  • Computer based cardio risk assessment
  • Stress Score Indicator
